After a warm welcome from your tour manager at the designated pick-up point, board a comfortable coach and prepare to cross the English Channel. Upon arrival in Belgium, we head to Antwerp, a vibrant cultural and economic hub renowned for its diamond district, thriving fashion scene, and rich history. A walking tour reveals the city’s treasures, including the stunning Cathedral of Our Lady, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and a cherished place of worship. We then explore the bustling Grote Markt, the historic heart of the city, where you can admire the beautiful town hall, photograph the iconic guild houses, relax on a terrace, and uncover the fascinating legend behind Antwerp’s name. Afterward, enjoy a delicious Indian meal at a local restaurant before heading to the hotel for a two-night stay.
It won’t take long to fall in love with the Dutch capital, and today you’ll have a full day to deepen that affection for this historic yet vibrant city, known for its cozy gezelligheid. The adventure begins at Keukenhof Tulip Gardens, one of the world’s largest flower gardens, where seven million spring-flowering bulbs spread across 32 hectares create a breathtaking display. In addition to its floral beauty, Keukenhof features sculptures and art installations that add an extra layer of charm, with each year dedicated to a unique theme. Next, we visit Zaanse Schans, a recreated 18th/19th-century village in Zaandam. This picturesque area, with its historic windmills, green wooden houses, and workshops, offers a glimpse of old Holland. Here, you’ll witness demonstrations of traditional cheese-making and Dutch wooden shoe crafting, with time to explore and shop before heading to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The evening unfolds with a tranquil canal cruise in a glass-topped boat, the perfect way to experience Amsterdam’s enchanting waterways. As you glide along 100 km of canals, you’ll pass grand merchant houses, gothic churches, museums, and medieval buildings, all illuminated by the soft glow of the city. A live commentary enriches the experience, bringing Amsterdam’s history and culture to life. After soaking in views of the city’s iconic bridges and bustling streets, enjoy free time at Damrak, Amsterdam’s lively main square, filled with shops and cafes. To end the day, we gather for a delightful Indian dinner before settling in for the final night in the Netherlands.
After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and drive to Bruges, a city that leaves a lasting impression with its enchanting medieval charm. Known as one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bruges captivates travelers with its historic beauty. Our walking tour, led by a local guide, takes you through the city’s ancient streets, where you’ll visit landmarks such as the Begijnhof, St. Saviour’s Cathedral, and the bustling Market Square. As you explore, admire the city’s picturesque canals, cobbled streets, and medieval architecture that make it truly unforgettable. In the late afternoon, we return to the coach and head to Calais or Dunkerque for the channel crossing to Dover. Upon arrival, you proceed to your respective drop-off points, bidding farewell to the friends you’ve made on this memorable journey.
